Product Description:
Anritsu MS710F 100kHz to 23GHz GHz Spectrum Analyzer
The Anritsu MS710F spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Anritsu MS710F. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
Some applications for Anritsu MS710F Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Anritsu MS710F spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Anritsu MS710F spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.
Feature:Minimum Frequency: 100kHz
Maximum Frequency: 23GHz
Resolution bandwidth: 100Hz
Use of a simplified PLL synthesizer local oscillator gives a high accuracy of 30 kHz/6.5 GHz (MS710C/E) and a high resolution of 100 Hz/6 dB (=70 Hz/3 dB).
Other features include wide dynamic range (second harmonics = -100 dB) and an optional, wide measurement frequency range of up to 140 GHz by using external mixers. This fundamental performance is required by most users. In addition, a two-channel digital memory enables simultaneous display of two measured data, display of subtration results and processing functions such as MAX HOLD and AVERAGING. By using these functions, the MS710C/D/E/F can provide many display/record-related functions such as signal search, and marker point data readout for numeric display and direct plotting. A new function which enables store/recall of up to 9 sets of measured data and measurement conditions has also been added.
The MS710C/D/E/F has been designed for both easy manual operation and completely automatic operation via GP-IB. T
