Anritsu MS2687B

Product Description:

Anritsu MS2687B Spectrum Analyzer (9kHz to 30GHz )

The Anritsu MS2687B spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Anritsu MS2687B. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).

Some applications for Anritsu MS2687B Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Anritsu MS2687B spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Anritsu MS2687B spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

High-speed Internet services using Wireless LANs are spreading rapidly. High-speed hot-spot wireless services are appearing in hotels, offices, restaurants, etc. 5-GHz Wireless LAN equipment and devices are being actively developed and there is urgent need for OFDM signal analysis. The MS2687B Microwave Spectrum Analyzer covers a frequency range up to 30 GHz and can measure up to 5th-order harmonics on 5-GHz Wireless LANs. Moreover, the MS2687B has a maximum RBW of 20 MHz and is ideal for measuring the burst power of wideband signals used by Wireless LANs. When the MX268730A Measurement Software is installed, the modulation accuracy, etc., of each sub-carrier of the OFDM signal can be measured at high speed and high accuracy.
