Option 012 provides the ability to configure a multi-transmitter phase coherent test stimulus for MIMO and beamforming test. Enabling multiple MXGs to share a common LO, Option 012, combined with MXG precision baseband playback synchronization, is a cost-effective solution for Mx2 MIMOin just four rack unitsand easily extendable up to four MXG phase coherent test systems.

Signal Studio software further simplifies signal creation and playback with MXG phase coherent systems for LTE, WiMAX and WLAN receiver test. From the software, automatically download waveforms, set-up triggering, and playback synchronization.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
