Product Description:
Anritsu 54111A Network Analyzer, 1 MHz to 3 GHz
The Anritsu 54111A network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest.
Anritsu 54111A network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. Anritsu 54111A network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The Anritsu 54111A can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response.

Features:
- Fast, accurate measurement of transmission, return loss, precision return loss, SWR, group delay, absolute power, and distance-tofault
- Crystal-based source for exceptional stability and accuracy
- Built-in automation features including distance-to-fault
- Built-in floppy disk drive
- Rugged, reliable chassis
- Transmission gain (loss), group delay and power measurements.
The basic configuration requires a single detector. For very low transmission loss devices (<0.25 dB), a second detector should be used to monitor any source power variations.
- Transmission and return loss (or SWR) Return loss or standing wave ratio (SWR) measurements require a high directivity SWR autotester to separate the incident signal from the RF sweep source and reflected signal from the device under test. The configuration below will simultaneously display transmission and return loss characteristics.
