Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8753ES 2-Port Vector network analyzer

The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8753ES network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8753ES network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8753ES network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8753ES can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response.

The HP 8753ES vector network analyzer allows complete characterization of RF components. The HP 8753ES includes an integrated synthesized source, test set and tuned receiver. The built-in S-parameter test set provides a full range of magnitude and phase measurements in both the forward and reverse directions. Built-in vector accuracy enhancement techniques include full two-port calibration, adapter-removal and TRL*/LRM* calibration.

The HP 8753ET/ES family includes both T/R and S-parameter test sets, covering 3 and 6 GHz.
