GMC Instruments

Gossen was founded in 1919 by a former assistant to Metrawatts founder, Dr. S. Guggenheimer. Since then, Gossen has been known worldwide through its portable test and measuring systems as well as its controllers, monitoring devices, analog and digital panel meters, power supplies and photo exposure meters.

Metrawatt, based in Nuernberg Germany, was originally founded in 1906 and known as Guggenheimer until 1933. Test, measurement and control instrumentation has been the core of its manufacturing business through the years.

Camille Bauer, the youngest of the team, brings 50 years of superb technology in instrumentation for process engineering. Based in Wohlen, Switzerland, its manufacturing program includes:

transmitters, transducers, signal isolators, recorders, power packs, alarm monitors and angular position transmitters.

To meet the demand for state-of-the-art technology, all three manufacturers have teamed up to provide quality instrumentation at competitive prices. In addition to high accuracy and reliability, their products offer added benefits like small size and system compatibility for industrial measurement, control and automation technology.

The teams manufacturing strategy concentrates on modularity and system compatibility. The current range of products carry an excellent price/performance ratio backed by years of experience, innovation and a commitment to quality. All manufacturing plants are certified according to ISO 9001 and products carry the CE-Mark.

GMC Instruments is dedicated to provide its customers with fast and efficient service, technical advise and support throughout the United States. Many products are available off-the-shelf and typically shipped the same day.
